A year gone by

While V and I were trying to figure out how to commemorate T's one year homecoming anniversary on July 17 (yes she completed a year with us!) T blew the bugle loud and clear at 0530hrs on July 17. V and I woke up to a wailing T who had downloaded a pajama full of crap - yep T had a bad bout of diarrhea this weekend. Nevertheless the spirited girl that T is....she was pretty cheerful the entire day and frequently looked forward to her cooked apples- potatoes-boiled rice meal.

Approaching the 1 year mark

Yesterday, July 13 marked the 1 year anniversary of my 'temporary resignation' from my job and annoucement of Tara's homecoming at work. My boss left a beautiful bunch of flowers at my desk when I reached work that morning and asked if he could hug me :))))

Little did I know that a year from then Tara (who turned 19 months today) and I will be talking to a 'duckie' while she rides it in the neighbour park.
